Qingxian is the monastic title of the buddhist abbot, he gave up years of practice and secularized from the Qiongzhu Temple(Kunming Bamboo Temple) on June 9. On June 17, he married with a 26-years-old woman who doing the jade business in Kunming.

This message shocked many people. Qingxian abbot is not only a highly respected monk, but also a CPPCC( Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference ) member of Kunming, vice president of the Kunming Buddhist Association.

The reporter found the old Master Xiuguan of the temple, he is 90-years old. He grew up in Qiongzhu Temple, it has been 78 years. Old Master confirmed the news of the Qingxian return to secular life and getting married.

"It's the first time that i heard the abbot to return to secular life to get married. In Buddhism, there're three kinds of people, we do not keep them: returning to secular life, going to school and wandering. His heart is gone." Xiuguan old Master said.

Qingxian return to secular life, without informing anyone in the temple, including his disciples. Until the Buddhist Association received the resignation of the Qing Xian, the people in the temple confirmed the news is ture.
